Samar has a Masters in Public Adminstration from Bowling Green Universtiy in Ohio. She graduated with a B.A in Political Science and International Development Studies, and has worked as Project manager in United Way of Greater Toledo and was on the Board of Directors of Red Cross Blood Services. Some of her activism includes co-founding Arabs and Jews for Peace organization, and being a member of the ADC.
Amira provides immigration services as an associate attorney at Frank & Morton, LLP. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Ms. Al-Alami was a member attorney with the law office of Haddad & Al-Alami, PLLC in Lubbock, Texas. Ms. Al-Alami received a Bachelors of Science degree in International Economics from Texas Tech University, as well as her Juris Doctorate degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. Ms. Al-Alami is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association ("AILA"), American Bar Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association and the Hispanic National Bar Association.
Reema Ali served as a judicial law clerk in the Family Court of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Ms. Ali holds a Juris Doctorate (JD) with certificates in Law and Public Policy and Comparative and International Law from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Emory University. Ms. Ali was the recipient of the 2004-2005 Dulin Haynes Fellowship for outstanding academic performance and demonstrated commitment to public service, particularly in the field of international humanitarian law. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
Nabil is a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans. He holds a Master's degree in Public Health, with a focus in International Development and Disaster Management. Currently, he is working with the International Center for Migration and Health, a non-governmental organization in Geneva, Switzerland, which conducts research to assess the social well-being and health conditions of refugees and internally displaced people. Nabil is particularly interested in solutions to the Palestinian Israeli conflict, as well as working to ensure the sustainable livelihood of the Palestinian people.
For the last 15 years Randa has worked in the Real Estate business in Washington DC. In 2005, she started Connections LLC, a Public Relations and business development company primarily concerned with supporting women-owned businesses and youth in the Middle East especially in Gaza and the West Bank. She also works as a consultant at AMIDEAST. She has been a program adviser on the Middle East for the World Affairs Council where she helped identify guest speakers to talk about prominent issues involving the region.
Tony earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and his JD from the University of Nebraska College of Law. He currently works as the Communications Coordinator at the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC).
Ashley practices immigration law in Dearborn, MI. She is a national board member of ADC. She is a University of Detroit Mercy Law School graduate and is a pro bono participant in numerous community organizations and projects, including the Safe House Domestic Violence Project, Southfield-Lathrup Village Counseling Services, Detroit Catholic Archdiocese and the International Institute of Detroit. In 2004, she received ADC Michigan's Distinguished Service Award.
