Sameh Abdelaziz

Sameh is IT Manager, Fares & Pricing, with Worldspan Inc. in Atlanta, GA. He has extensive experience with developing and implementing international pricing and fare systems for air travel, beginning his career at Egypt Air before moving to the United States in the late 1980s. Sameh is a Certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute, and has a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Alexandria, Alexandria, Egypt.

Amir Ahmed

Amir is an International Assignment Editor at CNN's International Desk in Atlanta. He has also served as Producer-International Assignment Editor for the "CNN World Report" program, and worked for CNN's Investigative Unit, 'CNN Presents,' 'People in the News' & National Bureau. He has been part of CNN teams that have been awarded several prestigious awards, including the DuPont Award, the Peabody Award and the Royal Television Society Journalism Award. Amir has an MBA from Clark Atlanta University, School of Business Administration and a BA from the University of Cincinnati, Electronic Media Division.

Fatima Akrabawi

Fatima is a professional living west of Chicago in DeKalb, Illinois. She spent 5 years working as an accountant in Chicago before deciding to help run her family's land development business. Fatima currently serves as the Financial Director of Landmark Management & Development Company. Fatima is actively involved with the local ADC Chapter in Chicago, serving on the executive board as Secretary. She has dual degrees in Accounting and Sociology from North Central College, a small liberal arts college also outside of Chicago.

Aseel Al-Banna

Aseel is a Washington, DC, based architect and co-founder and partner at Heliocentric, LLC. She ran Albanna Architecture Inc. in Louisville, KY from 2002-2005, and also worked as a Project Architect for A.R. Meyers in Silver Spring, MD. Aseel has a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Kentucky, Lexington and a degree in Architectural, Interior, landscape and Urban Studies from the University of Technology in Baghdad, Iraq.

Darlene Corey

Darlene is a Case Manager, Court Staff Attorney with the 11th Judicial Circuit - Domestic Violence Court in Miami-Dade, FL. She clerked with the Honorable Judge Raymond McNeal of the 5th Judicial Circuit, Marion County, Ocala, FL. She Has been very active with numerous Arab-American organizations and is co-founder of MEAPA (Middle Eastern American Professionals Association). Darlene has a JD from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida, Gainesville.

Yasmin Hamidi

Yasmin is a Development Associate for Communications & Program Events at the Tanenbaum Center for Inter-religious Understanding in New York City. She has also served as New Jersey Field Coordinator for the Arab American Institute, and interned at the Carmen Group, U.S. News and World Report, the National Endowment for Democracy, and the The Legal Aid Society in Jamaica, NY. She has served on the Board of Directors for The Network of Arab-American Professionals of NY and American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, New York chapter. Yasmine has a BA in International Affairs from The George Washington University.

Rouane Itani

Rouane is Media Consultant/Producer, Aflama, LLC, Washington, DC. She has10 years of experience in media consulting, video production, marketing and project management, Middle East regional experience in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and the U.A.E., produced a video series for Arab women's empowerment (10-month MEPI project), and produced and presented a daily health segment "Sahtak" for Future TV, Beirut on satellite reaching audiences throughout the Arab World/North Africa for over three years. Rouane has an MA in Film and Video Producing from American University, Washington, DC, and an MA in Education (concentration in psychology and public health) from the American University of Beirut, as well as a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics, American University of Beirut.
