The Cancer Evolution, Resistance & Prevention (CERP) operates under a full open-access model. All published content is made immediately and permanently available to readers worldwide without subscription fees or access restrictions. This ensures maximum visibility, accessibility, and global dissemination of scientific knowledge.

Author Charges & Fees

CERP is committed to full transparency regarding all potential charges to authors from submission through publication.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

The standard Article Processing Charge (APC) for CERP is:

  • USD 150 per accepted article

This APC covers:

  • Double-blind peer review and editorial management

  • Scientific editing and typesetting

  • DOI assignment and indexing support

  • Digital hosting and long-term archiving

  • Submission and manuscript management systems

Current APC Waiver Policy

At present, CERP is offering a full waiver of the APC (USD 150) for all accepted articles as part of Hala Publishing Group’s academic impact initiative, aimed at supporting researchers globally and encouraging high-quality submissions.

Following the successful implementation of this initiative in Volume 1, the Editor-in-Chief and the CERP editorial team have elected to extend this waiver to Volume 2, in alignment with the journal’s vision of promoting equitable access to scientific publishing and fostering inclusive global research participation.

  • Waiver Amount: 100% (USD 150 fully waived)

  • Eligibility: All authors submitting during the active waiver period

  • Time Period: Valid for Volume 2 (current publication cycle), subject to future review and formal announcement by the editorial board

Statement of Current Charges

During the active waiver period, CERP does not charge any fees to authors at any stage of the publication process.

This includes:

  • Submission Fees: None

  • Editorial Processing Charges: None

  • Article Processing Charges (APCs): Fully waived (USD 150 standard fee currently waived)

  • Peer Review Fees: None

  • Page Charges: None

  • Color Figure Charges: None

  • Resubmission Fees: None

  • Fast-Track Processing Fees: None

There are no hidden or additional charges from submission to publication.

Article Withdrawal Policy

  • Authors may withdraw their manuscript free of charge prior to the initiation of peer review

  • During the current APC waiver period, no withdrawal fees are applied at any stage

  • In the event that withdrawal fees are introduced in the future, such fees will:

    • Be clearly stated in advance, and

    • Not exceed the applicable APC (USD 150)

Subscription Policy

CERP does not charge subscription fees. All content remains freely accessible to readers worldwide.

Creative Commons Licensing

All articles are published under the:

Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0)

This permits:

  • Free access, sharing, and redistribution

  • Adaptation for non-commercial purposes

  • Mandatory attribution to authors and the journal

Commercial use requires prior written permission from the editorial office.
