The Journal of Agrosciences & Agribusiness (JAA) is a fully digital, open-access journal committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and continuous availability of all published scholarly content. The journal does not produce print editions, and all content is maintained through secure digital infrastructure and recognized preservation mechanisms designed to protect the permanence of the scholarly record.
Digital Archiving
JAA ensures that all published content is securely preserved through structured digital archiving systems designed to guarantee long-term accessibility and content integrity.
Publisher’s Platform Preservation
All published articles are hosted on secure publishing servers operated by Hala Publishing Group. These systems are continuously maintained and protected through routine backups to ensure:
- Long-term data preservation
- Content integrity and file stability
- Reliable and uninterrupted access to published articles
DOI Registration Implementation
To support persistent identification and citation, JAA will implement DOI registration through Crossref.
- DOI registration will be activated following the publication of Volume 1, Issue 1
- Each published article will subsequently be assigned a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI)
- DOI records will ensure persistent citation linking and global discoverability
Future Preservation Network Integration
As part of its long-term preservation strategy, JAA intends to progressively integrate with internationally recognized archival systems, including:
- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
- LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
- CLOCKSS
- Other equivalent preservation networks as infrastructure expands
Repository Policy (Self-Archiving)
JAA supports author rights and the open dissemination of research. Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit all versions of their manuscripts, including:
- Preprint (submitted version)
- Author Accepted Manuscript (postprint)
- Version of Record (final published PDF)
Deposits may be made in:
- Institutional repositories
- Subject-specific repositories
- National libraries
- Personal academic websites
- Professional research platforms
Embargo Policy
No embargo period applies.
Authors may archive and disseminate all versions of their work immediately upon publication, provided appropriate citation is included.
Conditions for Deposit
All archived or deposited versions must include:
- Full citation of the original publication in JAA
- A link to the official published version on the journal website
- A DOI link once DOI assignment becomes active after Volume 1, Issue 1
Long-Term Access Guarantee
In the event that JAA ceases publication, all published content will remain permanently accessible through:
- Publisher archival servers
- DOI resolution systems (once active)
- Institutional and third-party repositories
- Any active preservation network partnerships
The journal is committed to maintaining uninterrupted scholarly access to its complete archive regardless of future publication status.
