Peer Review Policy
All submissions to the Journal of Agrosciences & Agribusiness (JAA) undergo a rigorous double-anonymous peer-review process to ensure academic quality, integrity, and fairness.
Each manuscript is initially assessed by the Editor-in-Chief or an Associate Editor for relevance, originality, and compliance with the journal’s scope and ethical standards. Manuscripts that pass this stage are sent to at least two independent expert reviewers.
Reviewers evaluate submissions based on:
- Originality and contribution to the field
- Methodological rigor and validity
- Interdisciplinary relevance and integration
- Clarity, organization, and quality of writing
- Alignment with the journal’s aims and scope
Editorial Decisions
Based on reviewers’ evaluations, the Editor-in-Chief will issue one of the following decisions:
- Accept (with or without minor revisions)
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
Authors receiving revision decisions must submit a revised manuscript along with a detailed, point-by-point responseto reviewer comments within the specified timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be subject to further review prior to final decision.
The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief, taking into account reviewers’ recommendations and the overall scholarly merit of the submission.
Author Guidelines (Summary)
Authors submitting to JAA are expected to adhere to the following principles:
- Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere
- Manuscripts must follow recognized academic structure and citation standards
- Authors must ensure clarity, methodological rigor, and interdisciplinary relevance
- Full formatting and submission requirements are provided upon submission
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use Policy
JAA permits the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools as supportive instruments in the research and writing process.
Authors must:
- Disclose the use of AI tools within the manuscript
- Verify the accuracy and reliability of any AI-generated content
- Assume full responsibility for the integrity and originality of the work
AI tools must not be listed as authors under any circumstances.
Originality and Ethics
All submissions are subject to strict ethical standards. The journal requires that:
- Manuscripts are free from plagiarism, including self-plagiarism
- Duplicate or concurrent submissions are not permitted
- Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest
- Research must comply with international standards of academic and publication ethics
The journal follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA).
Open Access and Licensing
JAA operates as a fully open-access journal, ensuring that all published content is freely and permanently accessible upon publication without subscription or access fees.
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). This license permits users to share and adapt the material for non-commercial purposes, provided appropriate credit is given to the original work.
Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the right to publish, archive, and distribute the content.
