Open Access Policy

The Journal of Advanced Materials in Health and Engineering (JAMHE) is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely and immediately available online to readers worldwide upon publication, without subscription or access barriers. This policy reflects the journal’s commitment to the global dissemination of scientific knowledge and the democratisation of access to interdisciplinary research in advanced materials science, biomedical engineering, healthcare technologies, and translational innovation.

All content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), which permits unrestricted non-commercial use, distribution, reproduction, and adaptation in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited, appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the journal, and any modifications are clearly indicated.

Authors retain full copyright ownership of their work while granting JAMHE a non-exclusive right of first publication, together with the right to publish, archive, preserve, index, and disseminate the material as part of the journal’s official scholarly record.

At the present stage of the journal’s development, all accepted manuscripts are published under the journal’s open-access model without charge to authors. This policy supports broad international participation and reflects JAMHE’s commitment to inclusive scholarly publishing during its foundational publication phase.

To ensure long-term discoverability, citation stability, and permanence of the scholarly record, JAMHE will implement Digital Object Identifier (DOI) assignment for all published articles immediately following the release of the first issue of Volume 1. Upon implementation, each article will receive a permanent DOI to support persistent citation linking and stable long-term digital identification.

All published content is permanently archived on the journal’s publishing platform under Hala Publishing Group to ensure secure preservation, digital continuity, and continued global accessibility.

The journal’s open-access model is designed to maximize scientific visibility, enhance dissemination of research findings, support international interdisciplinary collaboration, and promote equitable access to scientific knowledge while maintaining alignment with internationally recognized publishing and ethical standards, including those of the Directory of Open Access Journals, Committee on Publication Ethics, and International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.
