The journal is committed to maintaining a fair, objective, confidential, and transparent peer-review process aligned with internationally recognized scholarly publishing standards and ethical frameworks, including the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics, International Committee of Medical Journal Editors, and Directory of Open Access Journals.

Authorship and Contributorship
Authorship must be based on substantial intellectual contribution to:

- data acquisition, analysis, or interpretation;
- drafting or critically revising the manuscript;
- approval of the final submitted version;
- accountability for the integrity and accuracy of the work.
All listed authors are expected to satisfy internationally recognized authorship criteria consistent with ICMJE recommendations.
Contributors who do not meet authorship criteria should be appropriately acknowledged rather than listed as authors.
Ghost authorship, honorary authorship, and undisclosed authorship contributions are considered unethical publication practices.
Conflict of Interest Disclosure
All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, institutional, academic, professional, or personal relationships that could potentially influence the interpretation, evaluation, or reporting of submitted research.
Funding sources must be disclosed transparently, including the role of the funding body in:
- study design;
- data collection;
- data analysis;
- manuscript preparation;
- publication decisions.
Plagiarism and Data Integrity
All submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism and similarity screening prior to peer review using recognized detection software and editorial assessment procedures.
Plagiarism in any form, including:
- self-plagiarism;
- duplicate publication;
- redundant publication;
- text recycling;
- unattributed reproduction of content;
- data fabrication;
- data falsification;
- unethical image manipulation;
constitutes a serious breach of publication ethics and may result in:
- immediate rejection;
- manuscript withdrawal;
- retraction of published content;
- notification of affiliated institutions where appropriate.
Authors are expected to accurately represent primary data and maintain scientific transparency and reproducibility throughout the research and publication process.
Corrections, Retractions, and Expressions of Concern
The journal is committed to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the scholarly record.
Where errors are identified post-publication, JAMHE may issue:
- corrections;
- errata;
- editorial notices;
- expressions of concern;
- formal retractions.
Retractions will be conducted in accordance with COPE retraction guidelines and will remain clearly identified and permanently linked to the original article.
