The APC waiver is available to all authors submitting during the active waiver period and applies regardless of geographic location, institution, or funding status.

Manuscript Withdrawal Policy
Authors may request withdrawal of a manuscript prior to publication.
During the active APC waiver period:
- No withdrawal fees apply.
- Authors may withdraw their manuscript at any stage prior to publication.
Should withdrawal fees ever be introduced in the future, such fees will be clearly disclosed in advance and approved by the Editorial Board.
Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright of their published work.
Upon publication, authors grant JECHS a non-exclusive license to publish, archive, preserve, and disseminate the article.
