Article Processing Charges (APCs)
Article Processing Charges (APCs) may be used to support:
- Editorial management and peer-review coordination
- Copyediting and typesetting services
- DOI registration and metadata dissemination
- Digital archiving and preservation
- Online hosting and publication infrastructure
Current APC Waiver Policy
At present, JGEHE is waiving all Article Processing Charges for accepted manuscripts.
This waiver reflects the journal's commitment to supporting researchers, public health practitioners, and policy scholars worldwide by reducing barriers to scholarly publishing and encouraging the dissemination of high-quality epidemiologic and health equity research.
Waiver Amount: 100% (all APCs waived)
Eligibility: All accepted manuscripts during the active waiver period.
Duration: Valid during the current publication cycle and subject to future review and formal announcement by the Editorial Board and Publisher.
Statement of Current Charges
During the active waiver period, JGEHE does not charge authors any fees at any stage of the publication process.
This includes:
- Submission Fees: None
- Editorial Processing Charges: None
- Article Processing Charges (APCs): Fully Waived
- Peer Review Fees: None
- Page Charges: None
- Color Figure Charges: None
- Resubmission Fees: None
There are no hidden charges associated with manuscript submission, peer review, acceptance, or publication during the active waiver period.
Subscription Policy
JGEHE does not charge subscription fees. All published content remains freely accessible to readers worldwide immediately upon publication.
Waivers and Discounts
In accordance with the journal's open-access policy, waivers or discounts may be considered for authors from low- and middle-income countries, early-career researchers, unfunded work, or submissions of exceptional public health importance, subject to journal policy.
