Archiving & Repository Policy

The Journal of Intelligent Analog & Mixed-Signal Systems for Emerging Applications (JIAMSA) is a fully digital, open-access journal committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and continuous availability of all published scholarly content. The journal does not produce print editions as part of its standard publishing model, and all content is maintained through secure digital infrastructure and recognized preservation mechanisms designed to protect the permanence and integrity of the scholarly record.

Digital Archiving

JIAMSA ensures that all published content is securely preserved through structured digital archiving systems designed to guarantee long-term accessibility, content integrity, and permanent scholarly availability.

Publisher Platform Preservation

All published articles are hosted on secure publishing infrastructure operated under Hala Publishing Group, headquartered in Tornado Tower, West Bay, Doha, Qatar.

Publishing servers are continuously maintained and protected through routine system backups and infrastructure monitoring to ensure:

  • Long-term digital preservation
  • Content integrity and file stability
  • Reliable and uninterrupted access to published articles
  • Secure archival retention of journal records and metadata

DOI Registration Implementation

Crossref DOI registration will be formally implemented immediately following publication and approval of Volume 1, Issue 1.

Upon activation:

  • Each published article will receive a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
  • DOI registration will ensure persistent citation linking and long-term discoverability.
  • Published content will gain enhanced integration with global scholarly indexing and metadata systems.

Future Preservation Network Integration

As part of its long-term preservation strategy, JIAMSA intends to progressively integrate with internationally recognized digital preservation systems, including:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
  • CLOCKSS
  • Additional equivalent preservation and redundancy networks as infrastructure expands

The journal remains committed to implementing preservation practices aligned with internationally recognized standards in open-access scholarly publishing.

Repository Policy (Self-Archiving)

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit all versions of their manuscripts, including:

  • Preprint (submitted version)
  • Author Accepted Manuscript (postprint)
  • Version of Record (final published PDF)

Deposits may be made in:

  • Institutional repositories
  • Subject-specific repositories, including arXiv (eess/cs) and TechRxiv
  • National libraries
  • Personal academic webpages

Embargo Policy

No embargo period is applied.

Authors may archive and disseminate all manuscript versions immediately upon publication without restriction, provided that appropriate citation requirements are fulfilled.

Conditions for Deposit

All archived or deposited versions must include:

  • Full citation of the original publication in JIAMSA
  • Link to the official published version on the journal website
  • DOI link once DOI registration becomes active following Volume 1, Issue 1 implementation

Long-Term Access Guarantee

In the event that JIAMSA ceases publication in the future, all published content will remain permanently accessible through:

  • Hala Publishing Group archival infrastructure
  • DOI resolution systems once active
  • Institutional and third-party repositories where deposited
  • Any preservation network partnerships active at that time

The journal is committed to maintaining uninterrupted scholarly access to its complete published archive regardless of future publication status.

Policy Updates

This Archiving and Repository Policy is subject to periodic review to ensure continued alignment with internationally recognized standards in digital preservation, scholarly publishing, open science, and open-access best practices.

Any revisions or updates to this policy will be implemented transparently and published promptly on the official JIAMSA website.

Through its commitment to digital preservation, open science, and long-term accessibility, JIAMSA seeks to safeguard the integrity and permanence of the scholarly record while ensuring that advances in semiconductor engineering, intelligent electronics, and emerging technologies remain freely accessible to the global research community for generations to come.
