Plagiarism Policy

The Journal of Intelligent Analog & Mixed-Signal Systems for Emerging Applications (JIAMSA) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, research transparency, and publication ethics. All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using validated similarity-detection software prior to peer review and, where necessary, throughout the editorial process.

Plagiarism in any form—including direct copying, improper paraphrasing, self-plagiarism, text recycling, duplicate submission, redundant publication, and the unauthorized use of data, figures, or intellectual property—constitutes a serious breach of publication ethics and scholarly integrity.

Authors are expected to ensure that submitted manuscripts represent original work and that all sources are appropriately cited and acknowledged. Where previously published material is used, authors must obtain the necessary permissions and provide proper attribution in accordance with copyright regulations.

JIAMSA adopts a zero-tolerance approach toward research misconduct. Manuscripts found to contain substantial plagiarism may be rejected immediately without external peer review. In cases where plagiarism is identified after publication, the journal reserves the right to issue corrections, expressions of concern, or formal retractions in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Authors are further expected to accurately represent primary data and research findings. Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data constitute serious violations of research integrity and may result in manuscript rejection, retraction of published articles, and notification of the authors' affiliated institutions where appropriate.

The journal is committed to preserving the integrity of the scholarly record and adheres to internationally recognized ethical frameworks, including those established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the the Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA), and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
