Journal of Intelligent Analog & Mixed-Signal Systems for Emerging Applications (JIAMSA) is a fully open-access, peer-reviewed journal committed to the unrestricted global dissemination of high-quality scientific research. All published articles are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription fees or access barriers, in accordance with the principles of open science and equitable knowledge sharing.

The journal believes that scientific discoveries in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, semiconductor engineering, intelligent electronics, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies should be accessible to researchers, engineers, clinicians, industry leaders, and policymakers worldwide.

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

To support open-access publishing and ensure the long-term sustainability of high-quality scholarly communication, JIAMSA applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to accepted manuscripts.

As part of the journal's inaugural development and its commitment to promoting global scientific participation, JIAMSA currently provides a 100% APC waiver for all manuscripts accepted within Volume 1 and Volume 2.

Accordingly:

  • Submission Fee: USD 0
  • Standard APC: USD 150 per accepted article
  • Current APC Waiver: 100% waiver during Volume 1 and Volume 2
  • Amount Currently Payable by Authors: USD 0

The journal does not charge submission fees. Authors may submit manuscripts for editorial assessment and peer review without any initial payment or processing charge.

The standard APC of USD 150 applies only to manuscripts accepted outside the active waiver period and contributes toward supporting the journal's publishing infrastructure, including:

  • Editorial management and peer-review administration
  • Manuscript processing and production
  • Copyediting and typesetting
  • DOI registration and metadata management
  • Digital archiving and long-term preservation
  • Online hosting and dissemination
  • Indexing and abstracting support
  • Long-term accessibility of published content

The APC waiver applies equally to all authors regardless of nationality, institutional affiliation, funding status, or geographic region, reflecting the journal's commitment to equity, inclusivity, and global participation in scholarly publishing.

JIAMSA reserves the right to revise APC policies, waiver structures, or publication charges in future volumes as the journal expands its indexing coverage, publishing infrastructure, and editorial operations. Any future modifications to publication fees will be communicated transparently through the journal website and official editorial communications.

JIAMSA remains committed to maintaining ethical, transparent, and accessible scholarly publishing practices in accordance with internationally recognized standards, including the principles and recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and the Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA).
