The Journal of Resource Valorization & Circular Systems (JRVCS) maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism and all forms of academic misconduct. The journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of research integrity, originality, and ethical scholarly publishing in accordance with the principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
All submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening using internationally recognized plagiarism detection software prior to editorial assessment and peer review. Manuscripts identified as containing significant textual overlap, duplicate publication, self-plagiarism, text recycling, unattributed material, or any other form of plagiarism may be rejected immediately without external peer review.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that all submitted work is entirely original and that the ideas, data, figures, tables, and words of others are appropriately cited and acknowledged. Proper attribution must be provided for all previously published material, including content reproduced from the authors' own publications.
In addition to plagiarism, the journal considers the following practices to constitute serious breaches of publication ethics:
- Plagiarism and unattributed use of published material.
- Self-plagiarism and excessive text recycling.
- Duplicate or redundant publication.
- Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to multiple journals.
- Fabrication or falsification of research data, images, or results.
- Manipulation of figures or research findings.
- Inappropriate authorship practices or undisclosed conflicts of interest.
Where plagiarism or research misconduct is identified before publication, the manuscript will be rejected. If misconduct is discovered after publication, the journal reserves the right to issue a correction, expression of concern, or formal retraction in accordance with COPE Retraction Guidelines, and, where appropriate, notify the authors' affiliated institutions or funding bodies.
By submitting a manuscript to JRVCS, authors confirm that their work is original, has not been published elsewhere, is not under consideration by another journal, and complies fully with the journal's ethical and plagiarism policies.
