Journal of AI in Clinical Innovation (JAICI)

The Journal of AI in Clinical Innovation (JAICI) is now accepting submissions for its inaugural issue. As a peer-reviewed, open-access journal, JAICI is dedicated to advancing knowledge at the intersection of artificial intelligence, clinical practice, and healthcare innovation. The journal provides an international platform for high-quality research, translational studies, and applied innovations that enhance patient care, diagnostic accuracy, and treatment outcomes.

Scope of the Journal

JAICI welcomes original contributions and scholarly reviews in the following areas:

  • AI applications in dentistry, medicine, and surgery

  • Radiomics, imaging, and diagnostic innovation

  • Predictive analytics, machine learning, and big data in healthcare

  • Digital health technologies, telemedicine, and clinical decision support

  • Robotics and automation in surgical and clinical workflows

  • AI-driven personalized and precision medicine

  • Integration of AI in prosthodontics, orthodontics, implantology, and restorative sciences

  • Ethical, legal, and regulatory considerations of AI in healthcare

Types of Submissions

  • Original Research – up to 3,000 words, abstract 250 words, up to 40 references, maximum 6 figures/tables

  • Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses – up to 3,500 words, abstract 300 words, up to 50 references, PRISMA-compliant

  • Review Articles – up to 3,500 words, abstract 300 words, up to 50 references

  • Case Reports and Technical Notes – up to 1,000 words, abstract 150 words, up to 15 references, maximum 3 figures/tables

  • Short Communications – up to 1,000 words, concise findings of immediate relevance

  • Letters to the Editor – up to 500 words, up to 5 references, maximum 2 figures/tables

Author Guidelines

  • Formatting: Microsoft Word (.docx), A4 layout, Times New Roman, 12-point, double-spaced, 1-inch margins.

  • References: APA 7th Edition, including DOIs where available.

  • Figures and Tables: Submitted at the end with captions, high-resolution (≥300 dpi).

  • Ethical Compliance: Studies must follow international ethical standards, including IRB approval, informed consent, and registry listing for clinical trials.

  • Reporting Standards: CONSORT (clinical trials), PRISMA (systematic reviews), STARD (diagnostic accuracy studies), CARE (case reports).

Authors must comply fully with the Writing Rules and Author Guidelines provided on the journal’s submission portal.

Publication Timeline

  • Submission Deadline for the Inaugural Issue: 1 December 2025

  • Publication of the First Issue: 31 January 2026
