About the Journal

The International Journal of Comprehensive Health, Medicine & Dentistry (IJCHMD) is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing healthcare knowledge through the dissemination of impactful, high-quality research across the fields of health sciences, clinical medicine, and dentistry. The journal serves as an academic conduit for interdisciplinary collaboration and translational research that informs clinical practice, public health policy, and medical innovation.

Founded by Prof. Mukhtar Al-Hashimi, an internationally recognized researcher with eight global research awards, and developed in collaboration with Hala Publishing Group in Doha, the International Journal of Comprehensive Health, Medicine, and Dentistry (IJCHMD) was established to bridge traditional academic silos and foster integrated scholarship across diverse healthcare disciplines. 

IJCHMD operates a rigorous double-blind peer-review system, guided by an editorial board composed of internationally renowned scholars, clinicians, and research professionals. Each submission is meticulously evaluated for scientific merit, originality, methodological soundness, and relevance to current healthcare challenges, ensuring only research of the highest caliber is published.

The journal welcomes a comprehensive range of manuscript types, including but not limited to:

Submissions from all branches of health, medicine, and dentistry are encouraged—including basic sciences, translational research, digital health, epidemiology, and health systems innovation. The journal values both established and emerging methodologies that contribute to evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary integration.

IJCHMD’s inaugural issue, published earlier this year, received over 40 submissions from five continents, ultimately selecting 16 articles through an extensive peer-review process—demonstrating the journal’s early global reach and academic promise.

As an open-access journal, IJCHMD is committed to equitable knowledge dissemination, providing unrestricted, permanent access to all published content. This model enhances visibility, citation potential, and impact while aligning with the principles of ethical and inclusive scholarly communication.

The journal is actively pursuing inclusion in leading academic indexes and directories, including Scopus, DOAJ, PubMed Central, and Web of Science. Although currently under evaluation, IJCHMD adheres strictly to the standards set by COPE, ICMJE, and OASPA.
