Open Access Policy

The International Journal of Comprehensive Health, Medicine & Dentistry (IJCHMD) is committed to advancing free and equitable access to scientific knowledge. We believe that high-quality research in health, medicine, and dentistry should be accessible to researchers, clinicians, educators, policymakers, and the global community without financial or institutional barriers.

1. Publishing Model

IJCHMD operates under a fully open access publishing model, ensuring that all articles are:

  • Freely and permanently available online

  • Accessible immediately upon publication

  • Available without subscription or access fees

This model promotes equitable knowledge dissemination, enhances research visibility, and supports global collaboration across disciplines.

2. Article Processing Charges (APCs)

To sustain open access publishing and maintain high editorial standards, IJCHMD operates under a standard APC model:

  • Standard APC: USD 150 per accepted article

This APC covers:

  • Double-anonymous peer review management and editorial processing

  • Scientific editing, copyediting, and production

  • DOI registration via Crossref

  • Digital hosting, archiving, and platform maintenance

  • Submission system management and indexing support

Current Waiver Policy

As part of Hala Publishing Group’s academic impact initiative, IJCHMD currently offers a:

  • 100% APC waiver (USD 150 fully waived)

  • Applicable to all accepted manuscripts in Volume 2 (current publication cycle)

This decision follows the successful implementation of a full waiver in Volume 1 and reflects the journal’s commitment to inclusive and accessible publishing.

Additional Author Charges

During the active waiver period:

  • Submission Fees: None

  • Editorial Processing Charges: None

  • APCs: USD 150 (currently fully waived)

  • Peer Review Fees: None

  • Page Charges: None

  • Color Figure Charges: None

  • Resubmission Fees: None

  • Fast-Track Fees: None

There are no hidden fees at any stage of the publication process.

Waivers beyond the current cycle may be granted on a case-by-case basis, particularly for authors from low-income or underrepresented regions.
