The International Journal of Comprehensive Health, Medicine, & Dentistry is now accepting submissions for its third issue, scheduled for publication on September 30, 2025. We invite researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals across the disciplines of medicine, dentistry, and public health to submit high-quality original research, systematic reviews, and expert perspectives that contribute meaningfully to advancing global healthcare knowledge and practice.
About the Journal
The International Journal of Comprehensive Health, Medicine, & Dentistry (IJCHMD) is a hybrid peer-reviewed academic journal committed to promoting interdisciplinary dialogue and knowledge dissemination across health-related fields. As a hybrid platform, IJCHMD offers both open-access and subscription-based publishing, ensuring wide accessibility while upholding rigorous editorial and ethical standards.
Following the successful publication of our Winter and Spring Issues — featuring contributions in digital health, oral-systemic integration, community medicine, and emerging technologies — we continue to build a global community of scholars passionate about research that informs real-world care and improves population health.

Accepted Manuscript Types
The International Journal of Comprehensive Health, Medicine, & Dentistry accepts the following types of manuscripts:

Full-Length Original Articles: Up to 2500 words, abstract up to 250 words, 30 references, and up to 6 figures or tables.

Basic Science Research: Same as above.
-
Randomized Controlled Trials: Same limits as above. Must comply with CONSORT guidelines.
-
Case Reports and Short Communications: Max 750 words, abstract up to 150 words, 10 references, and up to 3 figures or tables.
-
Technical Notes: Max 500 words, 5 references, and up to 4 figures or tables. No abstract required.
-
Letters to the Editor: Max 500 words, 5 references, and up to 2 figures or tables.
-
Narrative and Thematic Review Articles: Max 3000 words, abstract up to 250 words, 40 references, and up to 6 figures or tables.

Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses: Same as above. Must comply with PRISMA guidelines.

Leading Articles, Book Reviews, Announcements by Fellows and Members, and Obituaries are accepted by invitation only.

Writing Rules and Submission Guidelines
All manuscripts must follow these formatting and ethical requirements:

Microsoft Word file (doc or docx), A4 size, 1-inch margins
-
Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced
-
Pages numbered consecutively
Structure

Title page with manuscript title, author names and affiliations, corresponding author contact, and running title (max 50 characters)

Abstract and 3 to 6 keywords (no references or abbreviations in the abstract)

Main body: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion

Acknowledgments and funding disclosures

References in APA 7th edition style (include DOI links where available)

Tables and figures on separate pages at the end of the document, each with captions
Language and Style

Clear, formal English (British spelling preferred)

Define all abbreviations on first use

Use SI units; provide non-SI equivalents as needed
Statistical Reporting

Clearly describe methods

Report exact p-values, confidence intervals, and thresholds for significance
Ethical Requirements

Include statements of ethical approval and informed consent for studies involving human or animal participants

Include completed Conflict of Interest, Authorship, and Copyright forms
